The evidence that Chuck Hagel, Barack Obama’s nominee for Secretary of State, is anti-Israel is quite overwhelming. In this exchange between Hagel – who is himself a Repoublican – and Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) is a must-see. Cruz is cordial and spends less than two minutes on an opening statement / initial question.
Subsequent to that, Cruz plays clips from an interview Hagel gave to Al Jazeera in 2009. The clips are so damning and so revealing that Hagel literally looks foolish while implying that his answers may have been taken out of context.
Shouldn’t the fact that Hagel’s anti-Israel comments played so well with Al Jazeera’s audience warrant another look by those who don’t seem all that interested in investigating CURRENT TV’s sale to Al Jazeera?
Can you imagine if Hillary Clinton had to face questioning like this last week?
