Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) is the ranking member of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. During an interview with CNN’s Candy Crowley, he was asked about the status of the investigation into the IRS Scandal. His response was beyond disgraceful. Cummings thinks the case is “solved” and that we should “move on”.
Considering that the facts about the involvement of Barack Obama’s brother with the government of Sudan – a State Sponsor of Terrorism – haven’t even come up in a congressional hearing yet, coupled with the fact that enough news sources have raised questions about it, Cummings may be implicating himself in a pretty dangerous cover-up as this has a very distinct IRS angle; Lois Lerner illegally approved the tax-exempt status of Malik Obama’s foundation.
Once again, Cummings is one of 70 members of Congress who has been registered with the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) caucus. This is the same Congressman who looked the family of fallen Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry in the eyes and lied to them about wanting to seek justice. Covering up for the Obama administration was clearly a higher priority.
Despicable.
