Marco Rubio defended Huma Abedin, played Patty Cake with Hillary Clinton, and now his allies are Teaming up with Grover Norquist on Immigration

Marco Rubio’s track record when it comes to understanding the threats of Islam and its operatives just took another hit this week.

First, let’s underscore a self-evident truth. Without the Tea Party, Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) would likely still be in the Florida state legislature. Not only did the conservative Tea Party – a group that is overwhelmingly in favor of border enforcement and telling the truth about Islam – help Rubio defeat incumbent Governor Charlie Crist in the 2010 primary but it amazingly helped him win the general election after Crist entered the race as an Independent. Despite all of this, Rubio is now officially tone deaf on the issue of immigration as he insists on ramming through his gang of eight monstrosity.

It is the quintessential betrayal, no matter how Mr. Rubio would like to spin it.

Now we learn that a close Rubio ally is teaming up with an employee of Americans for Tax Reform (ATR), a group headed by the extremely Muslim-friendly Grover Norquist. That’s not all; anyone who opposes Rubio’s bill was to be smeared as a “nativist”.

Via Breitbart:

An employee of Grover Norquist’s Americans for Tax Reform (ATR), together with a political ally of “Gang of Eight” member Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), will argue Friday that groups opposed to the immigration bill pending in the U.S. Senate are “nativists,” Breitbart News has learned.

ATR’s Josh Culling and Hispanic Leadership Fund (HLF) president Mario Lopez will make the argument on a conference call with mainstream media reporters on Friday at 11 AM EDT. Brad Bailey of an organization called Texas Immigration Studies will join them on the call.

Some may suggest that we should compartmentalize when it comes to ATR. After all, they do some good things, right? Do we need to introduce Muruna again?

How about last year, when Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN), et. al. raised legitimate concerns about Muslim Brotherhood infiltration into our federal government? Then Hillary Clinton Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin was named in one of the letters; the evidence against Abedin is overwhelming. Yet, Rubio publicly chastised Bachmann over the matter. The list of questionable people and leftists he aligned with by doing so is quite extensive.

Then, in January of this year, after months of clamoring to get then Secretary of State Clinton to testify about Benghazi, Rubio squandered his five minutes by playing patty cake with her:

Marco Rubio has betrayed the movement that shed blood, sweat, and tears to have him represent them.
