Pat Smith to Obama: My Son is Dead, that’s not Phony

Pat Smith, the mother of Sean Smith, one of Benghazi’s four deceased victims appeared on Fox News Channel today with Stuart Varney. She was asked to give her reaction to Barack Obama’s reference to “phony scandals” on the campaign trail… uh…. well, during a speech. Americans who can process information separate from their brain stems have come to empathize with Pat Smith. The Obamautomatons seated behind the president apparently don’t get that.

Via GWP:

Of course, Smith was referring to Obama’s campaign speech very important speech at Knox College in Galesburg, IL in which the president referred to “phony scandals” that presumably included Operation Fast and Furious, Benghazi, the IRS Scandal, and the wiretapping scandals that involved the Attorney General investigating himself.

Pay attention is this video as Obama engages in projection when he refers to…

“…this endless parade of distractions, and political posturing, and phony scandals…”

Distractions? He’s the king of them. The IRS scandal was the result of a planted question just as the Benghazi scandal was heating up. Political posturing? Mr. President, why are you giving a campaign speech in a non-election year when you’re not even up for re-election?

The reference to “phony scandals” and “stale debates” is just the cherry on top of his toxic sundae of lies:

If there is a congressman who needs to be on any House Select Committee to investigate Benghazi, it’s Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC). Last night, he was interviewed by Greta van Susteren about Jay Carney’s reference to “pretend scandals” and it’s obvious that Gowdy’s patience is wearing very thin:
