Rub it Across His Red Line?

By Keith Davies

As the American people use their constitutional right of free speech it appears the “brilliant” constitutional scholar President has bitten off far more than he can chew and has miscalculated politically big time. We The People in Western countries are not going to be duped this time by the Liar in Chief and his band of useless sycophants. Even the liberal media disagrees with their messiah and can’t hide the disdain for the Syrian military adventure from the public.

Senator John McCain – a policy carbon copy of the President – faced his constituents yesterday and was taken to task with virtually a unanimous rejection of his support for a military strike on Syria. Five hundred to One of the communications coming in to their elected representatives are messages of rejection of the proposal to bomb Syria. The people in America from both sides of the political spectrum are unified on an issue for the first time in many years.

McCain: leading Obama from behind

McCain: leading Obama from behind

The support for the war in Syria is so lacking that talk has already started to not even bring the resolution to a vote in either the House of Representatives or the Senate. This would be a grave mistake for the Republicans not to at least bring it to the floor in the House. This president is a disaster for this country in every aspect of our lives and the opposition party, the GOP, must destroy the radical agenda and here is the opportunity to do so. There are so many other issues; the debt crisis, the sequestration and Obamacare are all coming up. All need to be dealt with and straightened out based on some common sense principals that any normal person can understand, just as our founders wanted. We need the power to be put back in the hands of elected Representatives who at least have some common sense, and will return America to the values of its founding.

I am always amused at Democrats touting Jefferson as their hero and the first who contained what they regard as their “liberal” agenda.

Here is one of many quotes by Jefferson concerning public debt:

“I consider the fortunes of our republic as depending in an eminent degree on the extinguishment of the public debt before we engage in any war; because that done, we shall have revenue enough to improve our country in peace and defend it in war without recurring either to new taxes or loans. But if the debt should once more be swelled to a formidable size, its entire discharge will be despaired of, and we shall be committed to the English career of debt, corruption and rottenness, closing with revolution. The discharge of public debt, therefore, is vital to the destinies of our government.”

The failure of the president with respect to his policy on Syria and his lack of credibility based on a multitude of lies and scandals that our nation has witnessed over the last number of years, should embolden the GOP to stand, fight and oppose strongly every radical proposal, bill and especially the issues of the debt and Obamacare.

Sadly it appears the GOP has no clue or willingness to oppose the Obama agenda or rub him across his red line. If it were not for the public outcry concerning Syria they would have supported the president and will cave on the issues we need to stand against in the interest of our nation’s survival.

American Conservatives need to primary all Republicans other than the ones who have demonstrably shown to oppose Obama on all the important issues, which are obstructing our individual freedoms.
