Today’s Barrack Show: Syria, Saudi Arabia and McCain

When it comes to what Obama is going to do relative to Syria, Senator John McCain (RINO-AZ) just can’t stay out of the news. This week, he cited an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal written by Elizabeth O’Bagy of the Syrian Emergency Task Force (SETF) to make his case during a Senate hearing with Secretary of State John Kerry. What neither McCain nor O’Bagy divulged was O’Bagy’s conflict of interest. O’Bagy accompanied McCain, along with other members of the SETF, to Syria this past May.

Is the U.S. fighting a proxy war against Iran for Saudi Arabia? The Muslim Brotherhood has gained significant influence in the U.S. and its subgroups have been operating with Saudi money. Saudi Arabia supports the Syrian rebels, in large part, because the only country that may be a bigger enemy to Saudi Arabia than Israel is Iran. By supporting the rebels, the Saudis are attempting to deal a blow to Iran through the Brotherhood. Yet, the Saudis support the Egyptian military over the Muslim Brotherhood.

So why do McCain, Karl Rove, Bill O’Reilly, and David Petraeus all support the Syrian rebels?

How does any of this make sense? Barrack takes a shot at breaking it all down.
