After Supporting the Arab Spring and Welcoming Muslim Brotherhood into UK, PM David Cameron orders Investigation of… Muslim Brotherhood

In 2012, the Arab Spring warmed the cockles of David Cameron’s heart; he embraced the Muslim Brotherhood leadership in Egypt and was ‘impressed’ with Mohammed Mursi. Just last month, Shoebat.com reported on the British government’s embrace of Brotherhood members who have fled Egypt, saying that these individuals could ‘operate freely’ inside Great Britain.

Now, less than two months later, uh… well… Cameron has ordered an investigation into… the Muslim Brotherhood.

Prime Minister Cameron may be finally waking up to what the Muslim Brotherhood agenda is. However, in announcing the launch of a probe he ordered by MI5 and MI6, Cameron admitted he still doesn’t understand the group’s agenda. Here is what he said at a recent news conference:

“What I think is important about the Muslim Brotherhood is that we understand what this organisation is, what it stands for, what its beliefs are in terms of the path of extremism and violent extremism, what its connections are with other groups, what its presence is here in the United Kingdom. Our policies should be informed by a complete picture of that knowledge.”

Hey, Dave, we DO understand what this organization is, what it stands for, and what its beliefs are.

In fact, we wrote about it in a book entitled, ‘The Case FOR Islamophobia’. Perhaps you should pick up a copy. If you ask us nicely, we’ll send you one free of charge.

Of course, the irony of all this is that Saudi Arabia and Egypt are putting pressure on Cameron to identify the Brotherhood as a terrorist group that should be banned, Cameron has just begun rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.
