Palestinian Unity Government with HAMAS is Now OFFICIAL but Peace is Impossible

By Walid Shoebat (Shoebat Exclusive)

GAZA CITY – Rival Palestinian factions Hamas and Fatah have agreed on forming a national unity government, a Palestinian official said Wednesday.

Fatah and Hamas have relaunched efforts to reconcile their rival leaderships in Judea-Samaria and the Gaza Strip, as US-brokered peace talks with Israel teeter on the edge of collapse.

On the other hand, Economy Minister Naftali Bennett, who leads the hawkish Jewish Home party, decried the deal, saying it turned the PA into “the largest terror body in the world, 20 minutes from Tel Aviv.”

This new reconciliation makes it difficult for the U.S. as to how it would react since Hamas is considered a terrorist organization.

The major issue amongst Palestinians has been that peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians, without Hamas, the legitimate government that was elected is impossible.

All these issues set a stage to another failure in the Palestinian Israeli peace talks.

As Shoebat.com reported in the past, Hamas has been in dire straits to gain recognition, especially since the overthrow of Islamist President Mohammed Morsi in Egypt.

We maintain that peace between the Palestinian Authority with or without Hamas can never be achieved. Our reasons can be summed up in the following:

Hamas and the PLO has the same agenda, Hamas said: “The PLO is among the closest to the Hamas, for its constitutes a father, a brother, a relative, a friend. Can a Muslim turn away from his father, his brother, his relative or his friend? Our homeland is one, our calamity is one, our destiny is one and our enemy is common to both of us.”

Hamas of course while it objects that “the PLO has adopted the idea of a Secular State”, that “Secularism completely contradicts religious ideology”. But when it comes to Israel, the P.A and Hamas are one and the same, Hamas charter says: “Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it …”

When it comes to the Palestinian-Israeli peace talks, rule #1 is that the core issue regarding the conflict is not about land but a land without Jews.

These are not our words but the words of Maen Rashid Areikat, the Palestine Liberation Organization’s ambassador to the U.S., who just recently said that the future Palestine should be free of Jews and why Saeb Erekat told the Huffington Post in the past that “Israeli soldiers and settlers — ‘persons who are amid an occupation, who are in my land illegally’ — would be rejected from the new Palestinian state.” This despite that Jewish settlements encompass only 5% of the West Bank. The Arabs rejected peace before 1967 even though there were no Jewish communities in the West Bank, so to make the arguments that 5% of Palestine are Jews as “hindrance to peace” is ludicrous, unless the issue of course, is an issue of racism against Jews.

Such agenda is clearly about clearing Ariel and Ma’ale Adumim from Jews. This is why Netanyahu asked Palestinians to recognize Israel as a Jewish state.

Article (12) of the Fatah Charter calls for “the eradication of Zionist economic, political, military and cultural existence” and Article (17) calls for “Armed public revolution is the inevitable method to” carry out this goal and Article (19) talks about “Armed struggle” to “uproot the Zionist existence”, and “this struggle will not cease unless the Zionist state is demolished and Palestine is completely liberated”.

In fact, when it comes to Israel and Hamas, it is crucial we review the FIRST statement on their charter ““Ye are the best nation that hath been raised up unto mankind” It is about Islamic supremacy and nothing more. From that angle we need to understand that the issue is an issue of racism.

Therefore, it is impossible to have peace since the scenario now even includes nations that did have a peace treaty like Egypt which its Muslim Brotherhood joined and even was instrumental in creating Hamas. The Hamas Covenant itself refers to the Islamic Resistance Movement as “one of the wings of [the] Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine…It strives to raise the banner of Islam over every inch of Palestine.”

Anyone who would challenge these observations must respond to an argument: In order to have peace Hamas must reverse Islamic doctrine. This is impossible, the Hamas charter says: “The Islamic Resistance Movement believes that the land of Palestine is an Islamic WAQF consecrated for the future Muslim generations until Judgment Day. It, or any part of [this land], should not be squandered; and no part of it should be given up.” Hamas in fact has Muslims follow this oath: “I swear by the holder of Muhammad’s soul that I would like to invade and be killed for the sake of Allah, then invade and be killed, and then invade again and be killed.”

HOW ISRAEL GOT INTO THIS MESS

But we must fault the Israelis as well. The Israelis reversed their old policies that were adapted by Begin and Shamir in the good old days NEVER TO NEGOTIATE WITH TERRORISTS.

Today when Binyamin Netanyahu calls for “peaceful co-existence” between Jews and Arabs—this would be a subtle manifestation of moral equivalence and is an assumption that both sides are the same. They are not. Or when he accepts to give up Hebron and Ariel Sharon gives up Gaza, they make the argument that if these are not Jewish lands, then by what right do you claim Haifa or Tel-Aviv?

In ESSENCE, Israeli politicians persist in negotiating with the successors of the Nazis, Keep in mind, it’s a historic fact that Haj Amin Al-Husseini, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the ally of Adolph Hitler who was seen on the even of the Final Solution was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. In essence the Holocaust NEVER ended and continues, the Palestinian Authority, knowing that the Hamas Covenant proclaims: “The Palestine Liberation Organization is the closest to the heart of the Islamic Resistance Movement.”

The struggle is not simply Palestinians vs Zionism. Again, Article 12 of the PA Charter calls for “the elimination of the state of the Zionist occupation economically, politically, militarily, and culturally.”

Why “culturally”? Hamas Minister Fathi Hamad recently said, “the Jews have become abhorred and loathed outcasts…whenever we achieve something against the Jews, the world applauds us…hatred for Jews is on the rise…people who hate the Jews…will support us.”

Yunis al Astal, a Palestinian Authority Parliamentarian said on al Aqsa TV (May 11, 2011), “the Jews being brought to Palestine is a divine plan that gives the Arabs the honor of annihilating the evil of this gang…the Jews are more dangerous than all of the world’s lethal birds of prey, dangerous reptiles and lethal bacteria combined.”

Should there be any question regarding Fatah’s objectives? Hamas says: “Our struggle against the Jews is very great,” and this struggle will go on “until the enemy is vanquished and Allah’s victory is realized.”

There has never been any substantive difference between the Fatah Charter and the Hamas Covenant: both call for Jewish liquidation.

PA president and prime minister visit terrorists or the homes of suicide bombers’ families, mourning and praising them. We recently saw the Fatah Conference named in honor of Amin Al-Hindi, mastermind of the Munich Olympics terrorist operation.

PA honors Muhammad Fadlallah, responsible in the Hizballah bombing that claimed the lives of 242 U.S. servicemen in 1982.

PA programs and PA videos glorifies terrorism with schools, streets and sports teams named after terrorists. The PA refuses to include even a small unit on the Holocaust as part of the human right curriculum in its schools as requested by UNRWA stating that this was a “provocative act”, with Fatah expressing its opposition to teaching the “enemy’s false claims and lies.” Fatah are still Holocaust deniars.

HOW THE GAME IS PLAYED?

ANSWER: BY CREATING MISERY.

In essence the Palestinians would like to create a Nakba for Israel just as they created it for themselves when they attempted to destroy Israel in 1948. There is an Arab proverb that says “the Arab got is revenge 50 years later”.

When it comes to the Palestinian welfare, it is Israel that cared more about “lifting the living standard” for Palestinians. I had once asked my own Palestinian family as to “why do you reject Israel, especially that your living standards under Israel was better before then while living under the Palestinian Authority”?

The answer from my uncle was swift “you know very well that we will never accept Jews to rule over us”. Palestinianism is a racist ideology and nothing more.

It is for this reason why Saeb Erekat, the chief Palestinian negotiator continues to create a fictitious ‘Palestinian misery’ and blame it on the Zionist state while using the “peace card” in order to gain concessions.

Arabs are experts in advancing misery and myth by keeping their people in squally condition to blame Israel while repeating that the issue is all about occupation and land.

It isn’t.

From my own experience years ago when I first walked in a speech by Moshe Elad, an Israeli official who wanted to better the living standards of Palestinians in Dheshe camp near Bethlehem and he explained how his efforts were thwarted by the Palestinian Authority since they wanted to keep the so-called refugees in squally condition to make an argument about Palestinian misery.

What the Arab leaders are doing is exactly the opposite of what they claim they want and is exactly why when Ehud Barak years ago gave them over 90% of the lands they asked for, they turned it down.

WHY ARAB TRICKS WILL FAIL

But deception is not without cost. Erekat is in a dilemma, since there are pros and cons for peace talks. While the Palestinian ideology portrays Israel as Satan in order to keep-up terror aspirations, it becomes a dilemma to appear sitting with it and listening to “Satan’s” security concerns. How could the Palestinian on the street justify even having other non-Muslim “satans” like the Quartet and its component members: the US, the EU, the UN and Russia determine his destiny?

So who can bring all sides to the negotiating table?

The only solution to this dilemma is to bring a Muslim nation that is accepted by the West.

Even Sarkozy realizes that only Turkey can broker a peace deal since it is perfectly situated in the region as the major super power that does not have Iran’s cyber-rattling rhetoric against Israel and is a NATO member. Erdogan walks out on Perez and sends a Flotilla, all this is to force Israel to negotiate with it.

Both sides Israeli and Palestinian know that they will never agree on Jewish access to holy places or the ‘right of return’, which are unbridgeable. Even if all Netanyahu’s demands are met, that the “Palestinians must recognize Israel as the Jewish nation’s state”. That the “treaty must be an end to the conflict”. That the “Arab refugee problem must be solved outside of Israel’s borders”. That a “Palestinian state will have to be demilitarized and a peace treaty must safeguard Israel’s security”. That the “settlement blocs will remain within the State of Israel and Jerusalem will remain its united capital”. Even if the Palestinian Authority will accept all such principles, the problem is not simply the Palestinian-Israeli conflict but that of an Islamo-Nazi regime that is developing in the entire region. In Egypt (the Muslim Brotherhood) Libya (Al-Qaeda), Tunisia (Al-Nahda) and Turkey (AKP) are arising Islamist regimes that speak about entering Jerusalem triumphant. It is why Erdogan tells the 51 Muslim states O.I.C (Organization of Islamic Cooperation), “Jerusalem is the apple of the eye of every Muslim”. Even if Israel gives up the Golan Heights it will be used by such regimes to advance at Israel’s Adam’s apple. It’s not a Palestinian land issue but the issue of an existence of Jews on Muslim lands.
