Muslims Attack Christians, Christians Gather Together And Butcher 37 Muslims In Heroic Fight

By Theodore Shoebat

A heroic fight of Christian zeal and heavenly fire occurred, and as the bolt of an awe inspiring storm strikes fear in the trembling beasts, the glory of the Cross pierces the charging devils, and causes their eyes to waver and shake under the billowing presence of holiness.

As we wrote earlier, Muslims in Nigeria attacked a church in the village of Attagara, and the Christians, with rage building up within themselves, took their arms and killed four of the heretic attackers. This well deserved attack led to an even more extended battle, with the Christians taking the victory and butchering 37 Muslims in the heroic struggle.

The battle was not between lands but faiths; not between political parties, but cosmos that transcend the physical limits of the universe. It was between theologies, between those who uphold the Holy Trinity and the Victorious Cross, and those who enslave themselves to the callous, deceptive, and unitarian god of Muhammad.

Titus Ponna, a church minister and chairman of the state chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, said:

These villages are over 80 percent Christian and the Boko Haram have in the last two weeks attacked them, killing many villagers… But they were able to defend themselves and killed 37 Boko Haram members.

An African report recounted:

According to reports, the youths in a spontaneous reprisal attack mobilized themselves and went after the terrorists killing 37 of them.

These Christian militants are with God “my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer… my shield, and the horn of my salvation” (2 Samuel 22:2-3), Who “hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me. Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.” (2 Samuel 22:40-41)

While David was accompanied with God, “my rock” “my shield,” “horn of my salvation” (2 Samuel 22:3), he took his enemies and “put them under saws, and under harrows of iron, and under axes of iron, and made them pass through the brickkiln” (2 Samuel 12:31). The Christian warrior strikes with the spiritual sword before striking with the temporal sword. The use of the former, brings justice to the wielding of the latter. The holy militant must bear both, for he strikes with the physical sword in order to advance the spiritual sword.

Similar to David, while St. Paul was armed with “the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” (Ephesians 6:17) when his enemies came to kill him he had protecting him a large body of warriors, “two hundred soldiers to go to Caesarea, and horsemen threescore and ten, and spearmen two hundred, at the third hour of the night” (Acts 23:23).

While Paul was only armed with spiritual weapons, and not physical ones, and the soldiers who protected him were not necessarily Christians, what greater scene is it, that in the advancement of Christianity there came forth holy soldiers armed with both the armor of God and the physical armor that advances the divine law. St. Paul is amongst the pillars of the Church, and within this great circle there are those who are arrayed with the Gospel of peace, and the sword that ends war and brings peace.

Within sacred history, there are those like Paul who were not armed nor waged war, but at the same time, there is within the Church “the armies of the living God” (1 Samuel 17:26); there are “the Aaronites” or the priests, who are “ready armed to the war” (1 Chronicles 12:23, 27). There is the centurion who, no longer giving allegiance to heathen gods and heathen wars, cries out before the conquering Cross, “Truly this man was the Son of God.” (Mark 15:39)

There is the centurion who is armed with the temporal sword, and holds a faith with so sharp an edge, that Christ declares of him, “Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.” (Matthew 8:10)

And there is the centurion, Cornelius, who Peter ministered to, who was armed with the temporal sword, being “of the band called the Italian band” (Acts 10:1), and with the spiritual sword, for he “feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.” (Acts 10:2)

And so did these warriors of Africa, warriors of the Cross, love God with both their heart and their arms, for in fighting did they illustrate the greatest love, “that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13)

God bless these warriors in Nigeria, and I pray that their most holy war will drive out the pagans for the victory of God Who reigns “over all the kingdoms of the heathen” (2 Chronicles 20:6)

Let the cry of “Christus Vincit” echo throughout the earth and ring against every ear of the enemies of God.

Holy war is at the heart of Christianity, and we as Christians must learn about this. In order for us to fight we must educate ourselves.
