Obama’s Border Crisis Backlash

Coordinated Political effort may be Backfiring on Obama administration

By Ben Barrack

Barack Obama’s decision to be photographed playing pool with Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper instead of making a visit to the U.S. southern border amid a crisis Obama himself facilitated isn’t sitting well… with Democrats. Based on how many attempted diversions have backfired on this president of late, it’s somewhat vexing that he would go high risk again.

Obama plays pool instead of visiting Border.

But alas, he’s an Alinsky-ite. That’s what he does. The #BringBackOurGirls twitter campaign was intended to distract from news that a Benghazi Select Committee was being formed after the ‘smoking gun’ email was produced courtesy of a FOIA request. Running concurrent with that was the VA scandal, which certainly brought more heat to the administration, notwithstanding the lack of attention paid to Benghazi. Then, one day after the resignation of Eric Shinseki as VA Director, the Bowe Bergdahl release was announced.

Yeah, that was a disaster too.

Now the border crisis may be backfiring on Obama as well. Normally very reliable, far left-wing Democrats are expressing outrage over Obama’s indifference to the illegal alien children. Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) received a stern phone call from the White House after going on television to explain how put off he was by Obama’s decision to play pool rather than visit the border:

Then, of course, there is the very outspoken and loyal far left Democrat, Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL), who is also a registered member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) caucus. He’s none to happy with Obama either. In this exchange, Gutierrez likens Obama’s refusal to visit the border during his trip to Texas to a refusal to visit a sick relative:

MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell is also acknowledging that the administration is in the middle of another crisis. Shockingly, though, Mitchell defers to the absurd notion that the administration didn’t see it coming. In reality, the administration may not have seen the downside coming but as for the crisis itself, the administration created it!

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that the current border crisis was designed as an intentional ploy to push an agenda, distract from other scandals, and paint Republicans as heartless monsters who don’t care about children. A screen shot on an official Obama administration website from January in which ‘escorts’ for illegal alien children were being sought, clearly shows the conspiratorial nature of the plan, as Shoebat.com reported.

ABC’s Jonathan Karl said that Obama is getting “hammered” over his handling of the border crisis (intentionally created by his own administration):

In an interview with Sean Hannity, a rather somber Texas Governor Rick Perry talked about his meeting with Obama. Though Perry didn’t go as far as he had weeks earlier when he said he thought the Obama administration was involved in a coordinated effort to create this crisis, he was visibly more concerned about dealing with the problem and Obama’s willingness to do anything about it:

Earlier this month, while on ABC This Week, Perry was asked about a charge he made last month that the influx of illegal alien children was a coordinated effort by the White House:

The optics of Obama not going to the border are compounded by the optics of Rep. Jim Bridenstein (R-OK) being prevented from touring an illegal alien detention center and then comparing a later visit to the Soviet Union; the Murrieta protests not panning out the way the administration would like; the spread of serious diseases like tuberculosis; and the threat if an increase in gang members.

On top of all that, America’s Islamic enemies are also paying attention.
