Is CNN’s Wolf Blitzer (a Jew) Waking Up?

Don’t look now but CNN’s Wolf Blitzer appears to be doing some legitimate reporting on what’s going on between Israel and Hamas. Objectivity is more than just a little bit out of character for both Blitzer and CNN but we’ll take it.

In the first clip below, Blitzer interviews an Israeli soldier and relays to viewers that in addition to being on the receiving end of rockets from Gaza and Lebanon / Syria, a third front may be opened up off of Israel’s Mediterranean coast to the west. It’s worth noting that this is one of the reasons for the Israeli blockade of Gaza that a terrorist flotilla attempted to break in 2010 (h/t BNI):

Here is something you don’t see very often from CNN either. In this clip, Blitzer talks with IDF spokesman, Lt. Col. Peter Lerner about the despicable tactics used by Hamas. Blitzer actually allows Lerner to explain the lengths to which representatives of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestinian branch – Hamas – will go. Charges that Hamas fires rockets from school yards and mosques are not new but giving Israel this kind of platform to explain it is indeed a refreshing change:

If anyone has the right to be hypersensitive about threats to Israel, it should be CNN’s Wolf Blitzer. He is Jewish and his parents survived Nazi concentration camps. Yet, he is also liberal who works for a left-wing network that has been compromised by at least one Muslim Brotherhood front group (CAIR), as revealed by Shoebat.com.

Blitzer was also a defender of Huma Abedin, a woman with completely verifiable connections to the Muslim Brotherhood; Blitzer dismissed Rep. Michele Bachmann’s concerns about Abedin as “ridiculous”, also reported by Shoebat.com.

If there is a group that aligns with the Nazi ideology Blitzer has a very personal connection to, it’s Hamas.

Perhaps one day we’ll see Blitzer make that relevant comparison; it’d certainly be a nice next step.
