That is such a lie that it puts anyone who utters it on the side of Hamas, which is committing an untold number of war crimes in Gaza against its own people while Israel continues to do its best to avoid civilian casualties.
None of that matters to anti-Semites who would rather blame Israel anyway. Those who attempt to rise above the fray with moral equivalency arguments actually side with Hamas.
