Muslim Comedian and Huma Abedin Defender Claims Most Terrorists are NOT Muslim

In an op-ed for the Daily Beast, Muslim comedian and Huma Abedin defender Dean Obeidallah argues that most terror attacks in Europe and the U.S. are NOT committed by Muslims. In perhaps his worst example, Obeidallah cites the 2011 rampage of Anders Behring Breivik in Norway. In Breivik’s manifesto, he referenced the work of Walid Shoebat and others as inspiration for his “anti-Islam” jihad.

Breivik: Purveyor of Nazi tactics.

Breivik: Purveyor of Nazi tactics.

However, the truth turned out to be something entirely different. Breivik finally admitted to employing an old Nazi technique, as Shoebat.com reported. The Gates of Vienna translated a report from Expo News which revealed Breivik’s true agenda:

Anders Behring Breivik has sent a letter to international media that “Expo Idag” has read. He describes the letter as a first step in a “peace negotiation” with his political opponents. In the letter Anders Behring Breivik has partially changed his rhetoric from that used in his so-called “manifesto”. He says that in the manifesto, he was using “the counterjihad” rhetoric to protect “ethno-nationalists” and instead prompt a media campaign against the anti-nationalistic counterjihad movement. He calls this strategy “double psychology”.

Anders Behring Breivik claims that he strives for a “clean Nordic ideal”. He means that the “Nordic race” is about to be eradicated and he wants there to be a Nazi party in Norway just like the party “Svenskarnas Parti” (The Swedes’ Party).

Of course, any friends of the Nazi Party are friends of the Muslim Brotherhood. Nonetheless, here is what Obeidallah wrote about Breivik:

Even after one of the worst terror attacks ever in Europe in 2011, when Anders Breivik slaughtered 77 people in Norway to further his anti-Muslim, anti-immigrant, and pro-“Christian Europe” agenda as he stated in his manifesto, how much press did we see in the United States? Yes, it was covered, but not the way we see when a Muslim terrorist is involved. Plus we didn’t see terrorism experts fill the cable news sphere asking how we can stop future Christian terrorists. In fact, even the suggestion that Breivik was a “Christian terrorist” was met with outrage by many, including Fox News’s Bill O’Reilly.

That’s quite reminiscent of the continued reference to Timothy McVeigh as an example of a “Christian terrorist” when in reality, McVeigh was not a Christian at all. He told his biographers that he was “agnostic” and that he considered his religion to be “science”, which puts him closer to Al Gore ideologically, though Gore’s religion is pseudo-science. Obeidallah’s decision not to use McVeigh as an example speaks to that reference beginning to outlive its usefulness.

Obeidallah: Compares this to five toddlers accidentally killing people with guns.

Obeidallah: Compares this to five toddlers accidentally killing people with guns.

Obeidallah then makes a grossly insensitive and misplaced comparison when he says that toddlers killed more people in 2013 than Muslim terrorists did:

In fact in 2013, it was actually more likely Americans would be killed by a toddler than a terrorist. In that year, three Americans were killed in the Boston Marathon bombing. How many people did toddlers kill in 2013? Five, all by accidentally shooting a gun.

Really? Five people killed accidentally is being compared to three people killed viciously and intentionally?! Besides, the death toll in Boston was actually four. In the days after the attack, police officer Sean Collier was murdered by the terrorists in a shoot out. Obeidallah’s comparison also completely ignores the 264 injured in the Boston bombing, many of them very seriously, to include loss of limbs. Sixteen additional police officers were injured in shootouts while chasing the bombers.

Keep in mind that Obeidallah leads readers to believe he’s talking exclusively about the U.S. and Europe. However, that’s not what he does. He goes outside his own parameters while expecting readers not to. He highlights Buddhist murders in Burma and Sri Lanka as well as supposed Israeli acts of terror over settlements, none of which are in either Europe or the U.S.

There is a very specific reason why Obeidallah won’t apply that same standard to Muslims across the world in his article. That reason is simple; it’s Muslims who are committing genocide and/or religious persecution all over Africa and Middle. If he wants to talk about Buddhists in Burma, why won’t he talk about Muslims in Pakistan, Egypt, Nigeria, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Libya, Syria or a whole host of other countries?

Answer: it doesn’t fit his narrative.

Nonetheless, Obeidallah’s missive is nothing more than propaganda that misses the real issue. The real issue in the U.S. and Europe is stealth jihad and mass immigration so that real jihad can one day take place. The numbers are large enough for the true intentions of Muslim fundamentalist infiltrators to be told.

As a defender of Huma Abedin, Obeidallah has got to know all about that.
