Secretary of State Says World Is Safer Than Ever Despite ISIS

In an AMAZINGLY disconnected and at best insensitive statement, Secretary of State John Kerry said in sworn testimony today:

Our citizens, our world today is actually, despite ISIL, despite the visible killings that you see and how horrific they are, we are actually living in a period of less daily threat to Americans and to people in the world than normally, less deaths, less violent deaths today than through the last century.

In 1971, Kerry likened American troops in Vietnam to Genghis Khan. In 2015, he’s ignoring ISIS terrorist savages who would make Genghis Khan blush.
