Baptist Church In Queens Facing Police Investigation And Massive Protests After Man Caught Raping His Daughter For SIX YEARS IN THE CHURCH After Services And The Bishop Covered It Up

It started with a video on Facebook that went viral after a woman announced that her fourteen-year-old niece, who she and her husband had been caring for, admitted to her that she was being raped inside of the Progressive Baptist Church by her father since 2013 and the bishop of the church covered up the crime for the entire time. This has lead to the arrest of the father and an ongoing police investigation according to a report:

A son of a Brooklyn pastor has been charged with sexually abusing a young relative inside the church for years, starting when she was just 9 years old, according to a criminal complaint.

Mathew Gibson, whose father, Ben T. Gibson, is the head of Progressive Baptist Church in Brownsville, is accused of raping the little girl between 2013 and 2017 when she visited on the weekends, police sources said.

The sickening abuse allegedly began just after the victim’s mother died, according to law enforcement sources.

For years, the girl, now 14, kept quiet about what was happening — but recently told her brother, who is her legal guardian, sources said. He immediately went to police.

Gibson, 44, was arrested last Thursday around 5:50 p.m. at an East New York homeless shelter at Forbell Street and Conduit Boulevard where he’d been living.

It’s unclear what, if any, role Gibson had at his father’s church. His occupation on police records is listed as “none.”

The teen told police that Gibson would abuse her in various rooms inside the church, police sources said.

Gibson is charged with sexual abuse of a child, incest and child endangerment. He is being held on $10,000 bail with another court date on Tuesday.

The accused sicko has been nabbed in the past, including for criminal trespassing for walking into a subway tunnel in November 2017, turnstile jumping in March 2016 and grand larceny in 1998, police said.

No one at Progressive Baptist Church could be reached for comment.

Ben Gibson also could not be reached. (source, source)

This is the original video that started the controversy.

Sexual abuse takes place in all religious denominations and isn’t limited to any race or geographic location or historical period. While there is much attention focused on the Catholic Church, the fact is that over 80% of all abuse, beginning with the findings of the 2004 John Jay Study, is committed by homosexual men against boys, of which two-thirds of said abuse is homosexual ephebophilia, meaning homosexual men targeting teenage boys. This kind of abuse is the exact type which the famous Jewish conservative thinker Dennis “Fifteen-is-not-eight” Prager advocates for:

Billy Graham’s grandson Boz Tchividjian has spent many years fighting sexual abuse in Protestant churches, and he has noted that sexual abuse among Protestant churches is much higher than in the Catholic Church but is not so disproportionately homosexual in nature, as it includes both heterosexual and homosexual behavior. The problem within the Catholic Church, while it includes heterosexual misconduct, is for the most part a homosexual problem as if the homosexual issue were curbed, much of the abuse would be reduced or disappear.

Ted did an exclusive expose on such behavior with Msgr. Michael Yarbrough and Fr. Robert Kincl, as they both tried to sexually assault him and Ted publicly confronted them on their wicked behavior.

It is important to expose such types of serious, obvious misconduct where they happen for the good of the faithful and the integrity of what one believes in.

As such, it is a good reminder that if anybody has any information about sexual abuse but is not sure if they are able to investigate it, please email us and let us know so that we may be able to investigate it further. You can remain anonymous if you wish. This “Operation Whip” is based off of the same idea that just as God set an example by making a whip to drive out the money changers who were perverting and blaspheming the house of God, so must the faithful make a sincere and honest attempt to identify and having done so conclusively, drive out those who are destroying and perverting the house of God from within.

Judgement begins always with the house of God. If one does not clean his own house, then God will clean it for him, and knowing that the justice of the Lord is perfect and final, it is always better to seek His mercy first and amend one’s life before the same person is forced to.
